Dien Bien battlefield is a historical relic documenting the glorious victories of the Vietnamese army and people in the heroic resistance war against the invading French colonialists. From Hanoi, follow Highway 6 through Son La, Thuan Chau, pass Pha Din Pass to Tuan Giao and then turn along Highway 279 to Dien Bien. Dien Bien valley is surrounded by mountains with many hills in the east and Muong Thanh field is 20km long and 6km wide, with Nam Rom river flowing through, so this Dien Bien land is very fertile. Let’s travel with us to the heroic land, a glorious time of the Northwest land on the occasion of Dien Bien Phu victory April 30, 1954 – April 30, 2022.
